Frequently asked auto tint questions

My car already has factory tint in the back. Do I still need to tint it?

Most SUVs come with some factory tint on the back. Usually darkness wise the aesthetic matches 20% VLT. However, these films are completely cosmetic and do not provide any significant heat rejection abilities.

How long does auto window tinting actually take?

We value your time. Most standard window tint installs are completed in 1 to 2 hours. You’re welcome to hang out in our lobby with free Wi-Fi and coffee, or you can drop your car off and we’ll text you the second it’s ready for pickup.

Can I choose my window tint shade when I get there?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know exactly which darkness you want right now. When you arrive for your appointment, we’ll show you physical samples of our 5% to 70% films so you can see exactly how they look and perform before we start. The legal limit for the state of Louisiana is 25% on the front two windows.

What if I accidentally scratch my window tint later?

That’s where our No-Fault Warranty comes in! If you choose any of our Ceramic Series films, we include this protection for free. Otherwise, it's available for purchase on our Dyed and Carbon tints. Whether it's a seat belt chip or a kid’s toy, with the Fortify Detail Labs No Fault Warranty we’ll one damaged side or back window tint at no cost to you. Accidents happen, we’ve got your back!
